The Big Idea
The Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) needed a fresh, modern update to their website, originally built in 2007, to improve the experience for users exploring their vast archive of records and staying up to date on current events.
A major goal of the redesign was also to shift the branding from sportshigh.com to HHSAA.org, clearly positioning the site as the official home for all HHSAA tournaments hosted in Hawaiʻi.
The Bigger Solution
With two decades of experience maintaining and designing the previous HHSAA sites, Bigger Bird successfully launched the brand-new website in time for the winter tournaments.
The new website features:
- Responsive layouts with bold photography and a streamlined, text-light design
- A tightly organized site structure for easy navigation
- A custom-built bracket updating system for real-time tournament results
